Libya urged to adopt aggressive job-creation strategy

The Libyan Planning Council said that the rapid growth of the country's population demands a more effective government effort to create jobs and provide social, educational and health services, PANA reported on Sunday (October 4th). According to the Council's new planning report, unemployment has profound repercussions on both economic and social levels. The Council recommended that the government boost job creation by diversifying production, promoting investment and boosting SMEs.
