Bouteflika, UN chief meet in New York

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon met with Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Foreign Minister Mourad Medelci and African Affairs Minister Abdelkader Messahel on Tuesday evening (September 22nd), APS reported. Bouteflika is in New York to deliver a speech before the 64th UN General Assembly on Wednesday. Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi will also address the body.

Given that they are speaking about peace and solidarity between the African countries and the uniting of neighbouring countries, they are not talking about the creation of puppet states or artificial entities that exacerbate the misfortune of the people of the Maghreb in particular and those who are underdeveloped in general. –Amen
