Libya tightens visa requirements

Three weeks after Libya began implementing stricter visa regulations for visitors, the country is already seeing fewer tourist arrivals, ANSA reported on Friday (June 26th). Visas must now be collected at Libyan embassies and consulates in the home country prior to departure. Other new requirements include proof of health insurance coverage worth 30,000 euros and disclosure of 6 months of bank statements
