Woman elected youngest Moroccan municipal council president

A 21-year-old female member of the Party for Authenticity and Modernity (PAM) defeated the Istiqlal party candidate on Tuesday (June 23rd) to become the youngest president of a Moroccan municipal council. Fatima Boujnah won the communal council presidential election in Tizeght, Tata province, on a platform focused on access to health care, clean water and electricity, MAP reported.
