Algeria, Morocco report new swine flu cases

The two daughters of the Algerian woman confirmed last week as the country's first H1N1 swine flu patient have also been diagnosed with the virus, El Khabar reported on Monday (June 22nd). The Algerian Health Ministry said all 60 passengers who arrived last Tuesday in Algiers on the same Lufthansa flight from Germany have been identified. Twelve relatives of the women patients are under medical surveillance.

Meanwhile, Moroccan health officials on Sunday confirmed the country's 9th case of H1N1 flu in an 18-year-old man young who returned from Canada. He is currently undergoing treatment in Rabat. According to the health ministry, the other eight patients left hospital fully recovered.
