Algerian students set new record for B.E.M. exam success rate

A record number of Algerian students will advance to high school next year, after passing the B.E.M. (Brevet d'enseignement moyen, or middle school examination) Echorouk reported on Tuesday (June 16th). The record 70% success rate also marks a significant increase over the 46% passage recorded in 2008.
