World Bank positive about Algerian economic indicators

2009-06-11

Algeria is the one of the top emerging countries in Africa, according to a report presented Wednesday (June 10th) at the opening of the World Economic Forum on Africa in Cape Town, South Africa, La Tribune reported. Algeria, South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria are considered "ready to rebound" from the global financial crisis.

Analysts commended the performance indicators of Algerian banks and the country's monetary policy, capital market and insurance sector. "Reform of the Algerian financial sector has generated positive effects not only for the financial sector but also for the rest of the economy," the report from the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the World Economic Forum said.

It is good to see Algeria well ranked in the economies of Africa. Let us also hope that they will open the border with Morocco, a brother country. This ranking would be good for the two countries. My greetings go to New Jersey and "Salam" to Kabylie.

Good for you my country. Algeria is strong and can resist. However, it has to keep a pace with globalization era, adapt it to Islam, increase trade, compound efforts, please Algeria, build amusement parks, big fountains to develop tourism and make partnerships with major countries (USA, Japan, China, Germany and London). Salam to the rebelling province of Batna and caring mother.
