Algiers to host African counter-terrorism forum

Experts from 53 African countries will gather June 17th in Algiers to discuss a continent-wide approach to security issues, El Watan reported on Wednesday (June 10th). The 2-day forum, organised by the African Centre for Study and Research on Terrorism (CAERT), will address the threat posed to the African continent by terrorism, organised crime and drug, human and arms trafficking. Participants are expected to set up an action plan for the period 2010-2013.
