Mauritanian presidential candidates declare bids

Since Mauritania junta leader General Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz officially filed paperwork on Sunday for his presidential run in the June 6th national elections, three more politicians have declared their candidature, local press reported on Tuesday (April 21st). Former Prime Minister Sghair Ould M'Barek, National Assembly vice-president Kane Hamidou Baba and Alliance for Justice and Democracy – Movement for Renovation (AJD-MR) party Chief Ibrahima Moctar Sarr filed papers with the Constitutional Council. Lalla Mariem Mint Moulaye Driss said on April 21st that she is in the process of finalising her candidature application, Journal Tahalil reported.

Personally, I am very happy with Ould Abdel Aziz. I am going to vote for him. I also want him to help me get some property. I am the father of a family and I have been renting for a long time.
