Ben Ali to permit observers for Tunisia elections

Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali pledged Friday (March 20th) to ensure the presence of Tunisian and foreign observers during the presidential and legislative elections in October, AFP reported. Ben Ali, 72, is running for his fifth consecutive five-year term.
