Mauritanian prime minister to meet EU officials in Brussels

Mauritanian Prime Minister Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf will arrive on Wednesday (February 18th) in Brussels, for meetings at headquarters of the European Commission, Pana reported. The visit, which comes only two days before a meeting in Paris on the political crisis in Mauritania, aims at presenting plans for the resignation of General Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz at the end of April and an interim government to prepare for the June 6th presidential election.
