I am a Muslim, Sunnite and Malakite and I never heard Mohamed, may prayers and blessings be upon his soul, speak of the Tidjania.
mohammed Posted 2008-10-16
Followers of Tijani brotherhood are accused of being agents of France. They supported it against Prince Abdelkader. Prince Abdelkader besieged them in Ain Madi. Can they defend their grandfathers? Can they respond to this statement? Didn't France marry one of their ancestors to a French spy to enhance its control over the region? We want to hear their replies. History shows no mercy for traitors!

I tell you Ahmed/Batna, i am Muslim, Maliki and never heard Mohamed (peace and prayer be upon him) talk about Tijani brotherhood. But has Mohamed, peace and prayer be upon him, talked in his time or during the time of the companions, God bless them, talk about Malikite or Malikite doctrine? So is it a heresy?

I apologize to my brother Khaled Mohi as I haven't visited this page for sometime because I am a teacher and you know well the conditions of workers in education. They don't have enough time to follow up events. I see my brother that you ask me for a reply about something which I was never informed about. I asked a question and you replied by a question. This is not logical. But the thing you don't know about me is that I am proud and honoured to belong to this nation which gave birth to Emir Abdelkader, my master Cheikh Ahmed Tijani, my master Mohamed Ben Ali, my master Mohamed Ben Ali senoussi. When I read the book “Present of the Islamic World” by the prince of rhetoric Chakib Arsalane, I see that he comments extensively about Tijani brotherhood and Senoussi movements. He shows the contribution of these two reforming movements in spreading Islam in Africa, how they defended Islam and Muslims, I feel honoured and proud to belong to this nation. I found the erudite and Islamic intellectual Mohamed El Bihi hailing the efforts of Senoussi movement in reform in his book “Islamic thought in its evolution”. To your information, my brother, I don't belong to any brotherhood. I am a Muslim, God is the best mandate. I found some eminent scholars attacking Tijani brotherhood. I state as an example his eminence great scholar the late Abdelhalim Mahdmoud, cheikh Abdelhamid Ben Baddis, the minister of knowledge of the Moroccan government Mohamed Ben Lahcen hejioui...My dear brother, I feel proud that my country gave birth to people like my master Cheikh ahmed Tijani. I feel proud when I read about the role of Tijani movement in spreading Islam in Africa. Believe me my brother, I feel very sorry for the lack of interest of the Algerian state in such great personalities. I think you misunderstood me. I wanted the followers of Tijani brotherhood to reply to the common statements in some cultural spheres...

Tidjani brotherhood is one of the most infidel and aberrant groups. I was just confused by the story of Mohamed El Kebir Tijani son of Ahmed Tijani. Why was he killed by prince Mohieddine? Why do you hide it? Do you know what we say here in Moaaskar? We say about you sons of Ali Harazem and Ahmed Tijani that he didn't have any children and didn't marry two wives. They came up with two sons in order to institute them as inheritors and so that the Zaouiyat wouldn't remain empty. Another fact is that you have distorted the history of native people of Ain Madi “Tijajna”. You had committed a shameful carnage. You killed 18 scholars in Fikh, Imam and scholars in Hadith. This is what drove Prince Mohieddine to kill Mohamed El Kebir Tijani. They were real Sunnis. They came with Madi Ben Makrab. I am informing you from versions of our great sheikhs who lived with some Tijanis. They came from Tijana near Al Madina Al Mounaouara or Mecca. Waiting for a reply.

Greetings. Bless you militant of Tijani brotherhood. In our time, we don't find anyone who says a word of right and here you are saying it. I am one of the authentic Tijani members from Ain Madi. However, my father immigrated as a result of persecution. What you say is the truth. Rayan from Morocco falsified history. They have persecuted Tijani members to the point that many of them preferred to leave Ain Madi fleeing the oppression of Tijani brotherhood. They are called “Mariq”. Ask all the Tijani people of Ain Madi and even people of Ouled Ziyan. They will tell you what the Tijani brotherhood did of them. In 1945, the year of evil. They invaded big gardens by extorting their owners and committed other forms of evil. I tell you one word, if these people are really the sons and grandsons of Ahmed Tijani, how come 99% of them are addicted to drugs and gambling? Not one of them meets the minimum conditions of a true Muslim. History doesn't forget and religion will persist. We see them paying the price daily. They are in conflict for posts, their sons go to beg in Africa from followers of Attijani brotherhood. Moral scandals are clear in their families. You will pay the price for everything you did against the people of Ain Madi. Honourable people in Ain Madi are real Tijani members, not you. We are from Al Madinah Al Mounaouara but where are you from?

God is the greatest. Now I have known the truth but I have never imagined it like this. Where you before? But it is the truth which should rather be followed...God is the greatest, God is the greatest, iron can be fought only with iron. God is the greatest. Where is Tidjania, its followers and members...the aberrant... The truth has come and the falsehood has vanished. There is no exit for you today.

In response to “‘ahmed/batna’ – I am Muslim, Sunnite and Malakie and I never heard Mohamed, may prayers and blessings be upon his soul, speak of Tidjani.”- This is not unusual, because you are ignorant!

Peace be upon those who follow the right path. First of all, you who pretend to belong to the family of the Prophet, follow the tradition of the Prophet, peace and prayer of God be upon him, and say something right. Hasn't your grandfather, peace and prayer be upon him, said that attacking affiliations is one of the features of the pre-Islamic period? Hasn't the Prophet, peace and prayer of God be upon him, said the Muslim doesn't insult, isn't obscene or use expletives? But what do we find here? Oh Lord, they are unjust to your follower, so grant him justice and from the affiliation of Mr Ahmed Tijani, God bless him, he is known by everyone to be honourable and a descendant of the messenger of God, peace and prayer be upon him. This is known by people who have confirmation and who don't listen to gossip. If you want, read the all books which were translated about him. “Soulouat Al Anfas Fi Oulamaa Fes”, “Chajarat Annour Azzakia fi Tabakat Al Malikia” and others which were documented by scholars.

One word is enough in attacking the French or English coloniser. Sheikh Izzedine Kassam, wasn't he the fighter of colonizers, without a doubt? He is the descendant of Tijanis, may God bless them. In Africa there is Omar Ben Said Fouti. He is one of the prominent Tijani Sheikhs in Africa. I am not here informing you about them. You should seek knowledge from its sources and you will find it. They are very famous. Then refer back to the words of the French themselves about the animosity of Tijanis towards them. Read the book on Islam and Christianity in Africa under the title “Tijani Brotherhood” by Bonnier Mourier which was translated by Amir Chakib Arsalan. The translator commented on a statement in the book, God bless him, saying that Africa would have been all Muslim if the French hadn't defeated Tijanis. Europe would also have been all Muslim; Europeans haven't defeated the Arabs. You can read the book if you want. And after all this, it is said that Tijanis were agents of colonisation. May God rest the soul of the just.

Salam alikum. The respectable brother Tijani. You have not replied with a specific answer. I have presented to you a known issue and historical fact which has not, in the past, been denied by the public or honest historians. We Tijanis don't pretend to have honour. We know for sure that piety is on the same level as honour. I will rebuke the guilty, even if he is a member of my family. I have presented to you a historical fact and a visual reality. If you oppose a historical fact, give your argument. What would you say about the killing of scholars in Ain Madi by Mohamed El Kebir? You cannot deny this, because even some honest people of the Tijanis acknowledge this. As to their reality, you should come to Ain Madi and see with your own eyes. I am not unjust to anyone and hate to be treated unjustly; they were deprived of their rights, their history was falsified.

Talking about Tidjania brotherhood has become a forum for the common people and laymen. But we know only history and facts. Read the book “Assanid”, you will certainly find Tidjania brotherhood. Look at the Islamic world; you will find that most of its followers are from the Tidjania brotherhood. Read the history of Algeria, about fighting colonisation; you'll find the role of the Tidjania brotherhood and its support for Emir Abdlekader until he broke the covenant and entered into agreement with France in “Tafna Agreement” which stirred the anger of Sidi Mohamed Lahbib Ben Sidi Sheikh Tijani against him. Read the letter of apology presented by your Emir Abdelkader to Zaouiyat Tidjania. It is now in Zaouiyat Ain Madi.
