Algerian National Television Company discusses Ramadan programming
2006-09-21
Algerian National Television Company CEO Hamraoui Habib Chawki talked about Ramadan programming during a September 16th press conference. The slogan will be "Algerianness, togetherness and diversity in a context of piety and tolerance".
By Lyes Aflou for Magharebia in Algiers – 21/09/06
![]() [File] Chawki said Ramadan programming will cater to all Algerians. |
Hamraoui Habib Chawki, CEO of Algeria's National Television Company (ENTV), explained during a Saturday (September 16th) press conference in Algiers that Ramadan television programming will be presented under the slogan "Algerianness, togetherness and diversity in a context of piety and tolerance." He said the schedule caters to the needs of a broad range of Algerian viewers, who watch national television in large numbers during the month of Ramadan.
Chawki noted Algerian productions will comprise 71.49% of programming, while Arab and western programming will make up the rest.
He also expressed satisfaction with advertising revenues, which were sufficient to cover production for the coming month.
Programming manager Djamel Berrabah, provided an overall breakdown of shows scheduled for Ramadan. He explained that programming decisions had been made according to the main criteria of "Algerianness": suitability for family viewing, a wide variety of genres (with preference being given to comedy, fiction and religious programmes), and appropriateness for Ramadan.
Following an assessment of last year's Ramadan schedule, Berrabah said this year would see some restructuring, including the news being moved from 8pm to 8:30pm "due to the fact that the call to signal the end of fasting will be at 6:45pm on the first day of Ramadan".
Evening broadcasts will include Arab drama series, religious documentaries, comedy programmes and comedies. Mohamed Aziza's "Khaled Ibn El Walid", Ahmed Saqr's "Ana El Awan", starring singer Warda, and "El-Dhaher Bibars" will be among the new Arab drama series broadcast. Documentaries and entertainment programmes such as "Djelsset Tareb" and "Hna Flahna" will also be shown.
Berrabah announced that the 540 hours of Ramadan programming will be broken down into informative programmes (77 hours), educational and cultural programmes (141 hours) and entertainment (302 hours).
Arabic will be spoken in 93.33% of programmes, with 1.11% being in French and 5.55% in Amazigh.
A nationwide survey of 3,305 people aged 16 or older suggested that 25 million Algerians watched ENTV during Ramadan last year. It concluded that "Algerians watch a huge amount [of television] and much more ENTV than usual during Ramadan". Viewers spent an average of 4 hours and 15 minutes per day watching Algerian television during Ramadan, while they usually spend an average of only 3 hours and 17 minutes.
The next-most popular channels in Algeria during Ramadan are Canal-Algerie, Al-Jazeera and Dubai-TV.

مريم Posted 2007-07-12
No greeting and no words, but I tell you that whenever I turn on the TV and remember that channel I'm anxious, nervous and perturbed. I advise you for the sake of God to close that channel otherwise God will ask you about the souls that die because of you. May God forgive you, the faithful.
فريدة Posted 2007-07-20
Salam, the TV is on the level, we thank all its staff and employees for its outreach. But there's one thing I didn't like: it was the dubbed serials which corrupted our morals and traditions. Why don't you broadcast films about the life of the honourable messenger or messengers. Stop this loss of decency, please reply to me. Salam.
amina nour Posted 2007-07-23
The television lacks religious awareness, cultural programmes, documentaries. Your programs aren't instructive and the technique lacks quality. Many ads and songs devoid of any meaning, it needs upgrading. You'll be accountable in front of God about what you broadcast...

Reply to Lalamia, do you want dubbed films in Ramadan? By God, shame on you! Are you ashamed to say that you want religious programs? No dubbed films, you're a child, by God tell me how old you are, in which class you study and how old you are.
علي Posted 2007-09-14
I want courses of the Holy Qu'ran, God said to our prophet Mohamed (peace and prayer upon him) "It is in truth a Reminder for you and for your folk; and you will be questioned". Because we have in reality forsaken the Holy Qur'an and are entertained by songs, serials, films and futilities. We must read the Qur'an because it is the message of God to people. So be witness that I have transmitted, salam alaikoum.
اسامة Posted 2007-09-17

بوغرارة صالح Posted 2007-09-22
Bougherara Saleh from the municipality of Charia, wilaya of Tibessa. Salam alaikoum. The Algerian television is a mirror which reflects this dear nation. It should be performing better so that it won’t be criticized by anyone. Where is the role of specialists in this sector and international specialists so that we can truly serve Algeria, our Algeria of revolution and victory?
dallel Posted 2007-09-22
The programs of Ramadan are not good just the serials 'Meeting with the fate' and 'Go my uncle go'. I just have a question: that sitcom 'Outside coverage'... why present it again in Ramadan? It's the worst sitcom, reminds me a little of m2, the ads are bad- sorry I'm just telling the truth.
لا مية Posted 2007-09-26
Directing of the Algerian serial "Meeting with Destiny" is very good but most actors aren't good at acting. There's also a lack of harmony, as it's illogical that her cousin be legally responsible for her while her aunt is alive.
عبير Posted 2007-10-01
The Algerian TV is very bad and is still deteriorating, most programs are unbearable namely the sketch 'Out of coverage' it's too bad.
مناال Posted 2007-10-02
The Algerian TV presents many programs except Algerian films.
عبد الرحمان المدية Posted 2007-10-04
Salam alaikoum, the program of Ramadan on the Algerian TV is good this year, we wish you more success.
مريم Posted 2007-10-05

We wish it continuous progress and success, thank you. I hope that you will take my opinion into consideration.

fouzi Posted 2008-04-19
I am asking about the standards and criteria to choose programmes because you present things that you don’t like and don’t see even the debates and roundtables, you invite people who have no knowledge and no competence. You choose according to your whims. This is a mistake. Your vision of life differs for someone who is better than you in terms of knowledge and experience. So keep this field open to scholars because it is they who present their knowledge to us and not you who present your obsolete knowledge to us. TV is for all Algerians so don’t come and show us aberrance and bawdry and present them as artists. We know that they all work from home.
sania Posted 2008-05-01
Hello, First of all, congratulations to the team that is organising this series, which is well regarded and well organised. They have a big reputation here in France. What could be better, though, would be if it the series was not always filmed in the same place — Algiers. Of course, the language would have to remain understandable. I really loved this drama for the last Ramadan, but I do not remember the name of that series anymore. Can somebody remind me?

ميساء Posted 2008-06-22
Firstly, salam alikum. Secondly, I would like to say to the minister of the television if the Algerian series are good we will watch them, but if they aren’t good don’t expect that we will. This is firstly because the Algerian series, especially those during Ramadan, are only 30 minutes long. Secondly, they are bad in comparison with the Egyptian and Syrian series. So how can Algerian TV hope that we will watch it when it is called the orphan, as there is nothing in it? Sister Maissa from Algiers.

The Algerian programmes are very weak. They lack the tools that are used. As regards Arab countries, they are making a great progress such as Syria, Egypt and even Morocco. they say that Algiers is the capital of Arab culture, where is it from that?
ميساء Posted 2008-06-28
Salam alikum. I want to say that the programmes of the Algerian TV should be improved so that we can watch it especially in Ramadan. How come that we neglect the Algerian TV to watch Syrian, Egyptian and other series? By God we hope that there will be reform to watch the programmes of our dear Algeria. Thank you.

I ask you to broadcast cartoons especially stories such as Remi, Snow-white, Heidi… As regards other programmes, I ask you to show dubbed serials such as Maria Del Carmen, Cassandra, the magic of the bohemians but in an appropriate time at three or four in the evening. About Algerian serials, “Al Badra”, Al Laib”, “Maouid Maa Al Kadar”, “Kadaa Wa Kadar” and “Chafika”. محمد Posted 2008-07-07
We ask the high authorities to provide jobs to the Algerian young people especially Ain Alachyakh is totally isolated and I focus on specialist university graduates. There should be no interest in the Algerian TV channel which offers nothing interesting to except their interest in culture they call “art and artists” who are crowned with gold taken from the hungry stomachs.
ياسين علواش Posted 2008-07-10
In the name of God the most gracious the most merciful. Peace and prayer upon the most honourable prophet. The Algerian TV, especially its land ‘orphan’ channel, is still developing. TV officials and high authorities must establish other Algerian channels. Morocco and Tunisia for example have at least five channels. But we have an orphan channel (it is enough). Salam alikum.

سامي Posted 2008-08-02
Algerian TV is bad. It only takes the relics of other channels and retransmits serials which are already known by everyone. It is unbelievable that the golden Fennec didn’t honour the best stars such as Mr Ahmed Agoumi, Othmane Ben Daoud and Ayman Nawal. They have paid tribute to unknown figures which appeared on TV only twice. Is “White nights” a serial which deserves discussion? This concerns in particular the girl called Sara, after years, she has remained as she was, no signs of growing up. You must reform the biggest things. I only liked ‘A meeting with destiny’ and ‘Changing moods’. The rest is just garbage.

I am Mayada from Algeria. I love the Algerian women artists and serials. I ask you to present us very nice Ramadan programmes, sweeter than sugar and honey so that we will be entertained and don’t feel hungry and thirsty. I wish you a blessed Ramadan. Wish you enjoy your breakfast in advance, hahaha. Bye.

My name is Saïd. I am 65 years old. I am from Bouira. I believe that Algerian television ranks last in the world, as it offers nothing of any importance. That is why people avoid the television. I hope that 2008’s Ramadan will not be like 2007’s. The movies and shows need to be changed. –Salam

Salam alikum. I am your sister from Timimoune. I wish guidance to me, to you the Algerian TV and its staff. In my opinion they need advice and prayer of guidance for them. You should know that God will hold you accountable for your time not the times before you and after you. So do what you want. Oh Lord be witness that I have transmitted. Planning and fear of God is what you need.

Welcome Ramadan. Welcome to the best month. I am Joujou from Algeria. I love the Algerian serials. I watch them a lot in Ramadan. So I hope that you will present the best, constructive and entertaining films. I liked the serial “Al Badra”. I want the second episode. Greetings to you. Blessed Ramadan.
abdo Posted 2008-08-19
Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you. Why don’t you my brothers present the serial “Bab El Hara 3” so that the Algerian channel becomes a famous channel in the Arab World? All the viewers of other channels will then watch the local Algerian, channel three or two. This is how I see the Algerian TV. Thank you beloved ones.

faife Posted 2008-09-03
Hi, my name is Wafa but they call me Faife or Foufa. Anyway, the orphan channel is not orphan because it has no father and no mother. It is orphan because it has no soul as well. Honestly, I watch it just in Ramadan because there are some programmes which are not bad. But there are many things missing. There is something which I don’t like honestly, it is the girls who present the weather forecast which means is the meteorology. They are humiliating us. If only they would take a little care of their look and wear clothes which are convenient for the presentation. Thank you. Bless your Ramadan.

This is for all the people pleading for religious programmes: you need to stop manipulating people. These people watch French stations like Channel 5 for the most part and then go saying that the Algerian programmes are not religious here. Stop dirtying us with your crappy propaganda. Islamist terrorists are always looking to manipulate people.
سجية Posted 2008-09-08
The Algerian TV exaggerates somehow about the feature film. However, the great star Mostafa Laaribi is incomparable. I thank the director Nazim Kaidi and the Algerian TV for this creativity. I want to reply to the question about false promises. The programme will be presented. It seems from your question that you have no experience about the Algerian TV Mohamed Kerchaoui. The number of episodes of a serial is usually 20 and less. When the serial is over, they present another serial and so on to the end of Ramadan. Please respond to my answer. Am I right? This is the problem but what is the cause?

I ask my Algerian brothers to view Moroccan channels such as 2M, Al Maghribia, Arridia and Al Oula and they will understand what I mean. I have a question. Do Algerians watch Moroccan channels? I want to know whether in Tlemcen people can receive Al Oula channel. I need so much to know. Your Moroccan brother.

It seems the more he is in front of the camera, the more at ease he is with his roles. He is very natural. Mustafa, I will tell you one thing: you deserve the prize for best actor. I do not know what to say about you: you are such a seductive, charming, cool actor. I adore you. Contact me ASAP!

Hello all, I read the various opinions and I can say that Algerian television has improved in recent years but it is still behind in comparison to the others (for example: Morocco, Tunisia, France and so on), especially in terms of image quality and programming. Every time I flip on the TV, I see a show on animals or Egyptian horror flicks. The programmes are not worked on enough and some shows and series are broadcasted at the wrong time. You get the impression that it is all accidental. Today, other broadcasting companies are adapting their programming to their audience. Various series such as Mouselsels are broadcast during the hours that housewives are at home right around the time they are finishing up their household chores (2 p.m.), having variety shows on the weekend, cartoons just after school lets out and so on. This is precisely what our television today. Moreover, there are very few cultural shows, Young people and children need to expand their knowledge. We need more religious programming. I really love Sunday programming and I thank you for this super programme: it teaches us so much. It should also be added that there should be more entertainment, especially for the children. However, I think that as time goes there will be more improvement. (But, please make this as quick as possible.) And, Iwiza, I agree with you: Mr Laribi is a good actor. It is a shame we do not see him more often. Miss Katia and Miss Nihal, both in that series, are both good too, and I never saw them before. Have a good end of Ramadan everybody!
rafika Posted 2008-09-20
Good evening and good breakfast, First of all, I would like to thank the Algerian television company for all the effort it has made. Also, I would like to ask you, my dear television audience, to be nicer to them. I know that you are disappointed by their programmes, but you need to tell yourselves that they are doing their best. Thank you and have a good evening and a nice breakfast!
rahouhanane Posted 2008-09-20
Hello, I would like to tell you one thing and one thing only, and that is that Algerian television is worthless, absolutely worthless! There you have it: that is the truth and you can see how bad it is. Either you are watching satellite television or you are just presenting one one-trillionth of what they are broadcasting! What shamefulness! We want to know what the people in charge and everyone who works in Algerian television really think. In my opinion, these people have no taste and no know-how. —Thank you

mimi Posted 2008-09-25
This year's Ramadan programming is catastrophic!!! I offer you the example of the “famous” adaptation—or should I say “pirating” and poor recreation—of the series “A Girl, A Boy” into “Soussou et Nounou”!!! Frankly, it is worthless, worthless, worthless!!! Why would you copy the masterful piece of work that is the original version in order to present us with a terrible fiasco!!! I was terribly disappointed in seeing this "TBAHDILA". Personally, I am a fan of the original. I have not even mentioned the actors! They were made to act ridiculous for no reason! If only they had written their own dialogue or conferred this task on someone else, but no, it was “cut and paste” pure and simple. (And, by the way, it was poorly interpreted.) They will never hold a candle to Jean du Jardin or Alexandra Lami. This is how the taxpayers money is spent!!!??? What a fiasco! Thank you once again, HBC, for showing the terrible truth about Algerian TV: namely, that it is idiotic! The only thing left this Ramadan is Hunger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The other channels—abroad that is—improve their programming day by day, but you are only making an unfortunate empire!!! And, of course it had to be for us!!! Fortunately for us, we have satellite television.
oujda Posted 2008-09-26

Bravo to Nazim Kaidi for his series “Qouloub fi Siraa”! What an excellent cast! On the other hand, I did not understand the choice he made with regards to the actress who plays the role of Lylia: she is not beautiful at all! Her present during the soap opera is cold and bland, and, in short, I do not understand how she managed to get this role. –Inès

Well, first of all, salam alaikoum everyone. If you will allow me, I would like to add my two cents’ worth about our national television programming: they are trying to do their best, but it is not enough! Beyond this, there is Zaama with its three channels, all of which are worthless!!! Their programmes like “Layali Enoudjoums”, which is about as archaic as it gets. Honestly, check out at the look of hostess! I do not think that she is natural; she is too “sophisticated” with her overdone make-up and extravagant hairstyles. Truthfully, she is a hyperbole in and of herself! The show “Leqaa”, hosted by the famous Nadia has a good concept behind it but the presentation remains wanting! Be more cool and relaxed! You feel like you are in the 1970s! As for the movies and soap operas, they are encouraging. We should leave them free to do as they will for the people who really want to work. “El Fhama” is an Algerian reality show sahit MED BADI and the clique!!! Please respond! –Thank you
sally Posted 2008-10-03
Hello everyone, I am very surprised at not getting a response to my question about the music from the soap opera “Kouloub Fi Siraa”. It is not rocket science to respond to the television audience, especially given that without them your television is dead. If you want me to flip over to Canal Algérie, it is not a big loss for me. A word to the wise! -Bye

I like the serial "Achwak Al Madina". I want the video. Thank you.
omar Posted 2008-10-04
Happy Eid to all those who read this letter of thanks. I would like to step in to give my point of view on the soap opera “Kouloub Fi Siraa”. In my opinion, the director, Mr Kaidi, wanted to show the goodness that is embodied in the actor Laribi who plays “Youssef”, who comes out unscathed and unchecked by all of the setbacks he has suffered. Moreover, his goodness has succeeded in transforming his mind for vengeance and hatred towards the exemplary character of Lylia, who was both blinded and orphaned because of Youssef, the latter being responsible for the death of her father, into a platonic lover for her, wherein it is always necessary to be good no matter the circumstance. Nevertheless, the end of the series leaves us hungry for more. I ask that Mr Kaidi make at least one more episode to this, in which we will see the orphan who was crying throughout the majority of this series become happy through a marriage to Youssef, who himself has the need of a woman to love him. Please, Mr Kaidi, do this for us. We are still in grief over these two characters. –See you soon
SOUD Posted 2008-10-04
Please, Mr Kaidi of the soap opera “Kouloub Fi Siraaa”, given their mutual love and their own setbacks earlier on, make one more episode that concludes with the marriage of Youssef and Lylia.
omar Posted 2008-10-05
Why didn’t you publish my comment?
omar Posted 2008-10-06
(Please publish my comment.) In the Soap Opera “Kouloub Fi Siraa”, you have, on the one side, goodness embodied in by a remarkable actor and, on the other, an orphan, who is unfortunately such because of this actor and who is moved by a spirit of vengeance and hatred towards Youssef. The result is goodness all around, as the actor is going to transform everything that is bad in Lylia into a platonic love. However, the soap opera end in suspense in three ways, demanding a last episode where the actors get married and do away with both their and our grief. It is up to you to respond. Please, respond.
oujda Posted 2008-10-07
Salam to the orphan. By God Almighty you will recover. May God consider your state. Amen. Sniper Oujda.

Good evening everyone- Personally, I did not come here to criticise or to seriously pose any questions or anything else: I do not take the time to watch you because I do not like you at all, from “A” to “Z”. I am here just to say that I think the truth is what I see in reality: all the programmes on Algerian television put the people to sleep, be they the disgusting series from Egypt – I don’t think they even watch them over there – or cartoons talking about patriotism and martyrs or that show “Lefhama”. Moreover, in my opinion, television is only playing the role of one of many of our manipulators, for example: the famous comedian who became a representative, the journalist who became a minister and so on. These shows are making everyone stupid, talking about what the latter built, but never what they destroyed. In the end, I am tired of this, because there is no hope left here in Algeria. It would be better for both you and us if you would let us go. I am truly tired of you.

كاتيا Posted 2009-03-19
Algerian television is still substandard, substandard in comparison with Tunisia, Morocco or even Libya. The first advice we offer to specialists in this field and to the director of the TV to develop yourselves a little, with all my respects, because you are substandard. The best example of this is that we have only three channels while our neighbours in Morocco, Tunisia and even Libya have more than six channels. Therefore we have to showcase the culture of our country through serials, programmes and films which feature our culture and thus enrich TV. As a criticism about the Algerian TV currently, it is substandard and incompatible with the current developments. Finally, I wish more progress and development in the all fields associated with enriching the television so that we reach a honourable level and compete with all Arab countries. Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you.
sarah Posted 2009-03-23
Salam alaikoum- So, the televised programming was not good at all, especially with regards to the series. They were not true to how Algerians live. And, the programmes “Ka’da” and “Fen Bladi” was all modern this year. – Thank you.

Hello- I am appalled by the baseness of our programmes in comparison to those of our Moroccan and Tunisian neighbours. The only time I came even slightly close to enjoying any of them was with the soap opera “The Return” (“Le Retour”), because the language was like that of here in Algiers. It was real, not like literary Arabic, which most of my compatriots do not understand at all. Make us dream! We are thirsty for our Algiers’ culture. We particularly appreciate it here because we are far away from our country. A word to the wise!
محمد Posted 2009-04-24
This channel is not perfect, perfection is to God. I hope that you will make more efforts.
sabriya de marseille Posted 2009-05-11
The Algerian National Television Channel has changed and it is still in the process of showing more Algerian films and music videos and less commercials that serve no purpose. There are a lot of programmes that intoxicate us. When I watch Morocco’s and Tunisia’s television, they have a lot of stuff, but I often do not understand what they are saying. Stay strong and try to improve yourself. Thank you. –Goodbye PS- Make the month of Ramadan in 2009 full of films and sketches.
fat Posted 2009-05-17
Yesterday evening I watched "Fennecs d'Or", and I was dismayed and disappointed by the prizes!!! Just the fact of not nominating Nazim Kaidi was an enormous mistake, but then they gave the Fennec for the best actor to a Syrian, even though our Algerian actors are a hundred times better. This is an insult to the television audience watching ENTV!!! Frankly, Algerian productions have nothing to envy in other foreign production. We Algerians love our television, our soap operas, our actors, our directors and so on. Here is a small message for Nazim Kaidi: Thank you. Continue making us dream. Bravo for the actors you choose. We Algerians living abroad are very proud of you and your team. On with the next soap opera!!!
عادل Posted 2009-06-26
Salam alikum. TV programmes are very bad and poor. They're mostly dubbed serials. I want some historical movies and Algerian movies not Turkish.
sarah Posted 2009-07-05
I like 'Hadj Lakdar' and 'Fighting hearts'.
سمسم 8 -7-2009 Posted 2009-07-08
Good evening all the brothers. Algerian serials are great but scarce. You are making progress. May God forgive those who say the opposite. El Ouedi.
ربيع Posted 2009-07-16
Salam alikum. God said «And when it is said to them, Do not make mischief in the land, they say: We are but peace-makers. Now surely they themselves are the mischief makers, but they do not perceive”. My brothers and sisters, the Algerian people are Muslim, respectable and have deep origins. People who love God and His messenger, peace be upon him. People who love their nation for which a million and half million martyrs sacrificed their lives and they are still making sacrifices today for it. In order to be free, Algeria, the Muslim country, can achieve this not through the politics of westerners the atheists but through the policies of our hero martyrs. We want you respectable sir to broadcast on your respectable channel something that interests the Algerian people including religious serials or films, Islamic programs which educate our sons, daughters and wives. Enough idle words of dubbed films and depraved songs which you will regret on the Day of Judgment when money and sons will be of no use except those who come to God with a sound heart. Finally, I ask God to protect our country where we have a living, protect our patient Moujahid people whom I am proud of by God. Finally I say if I am right, this is from God and if I am mistaken it is from me and from Satan. Peace be upon the followers of the right path. From Algiers.
كنزة Posted 2009-07-22
I want to watch Algerian serials.
عبد القادر Posted 2009-07-24
The Algerian TV is good at nothing whether from the point of entertainment or culture. I hope you will adjust the situation. Don't disgrace us.
كوثر Posted 2009-07-25
Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you. My brothers, in Ramadan, I am interested in everything new. We are used to watch all year long dull and old programmes. I hope you will present many cartoons because I love cartoons. Thank you in advance.
Anonymous Posted 2009-07-27
I despise the person who said that no matter what the Algerian channel did, it wouldn't catch up to great channels.
رحااب Posted 2009-07-30
Salam alikum. I am from Ain Oussara. The Algerian TV now presents everything old. I hope you will present us new programmes and serials. Thank you.
سهام Posted 2009-07-30
Salam alikum. I ask you to present new serials and programmes.
سهام Posted 2009-07-30
Hi. The Algerian TV needs reform and development.
skmed Posted 2009-07-31
Peace and mercy of God be upon you. I would like to say that the Algerian TV is respectable and deserves esteem. However, we want some old Algerian films. By God, they are great. Med Aflou. Thank you.
.03 skimed Posted 2009-07-31
I thank all the staff of the Algerian TV. I would like to say to commentators that the channel lacks some programmes. But if we compare it to some other satellite channels, it is much better, you can watch TV with the family. Those who say the channel is not to the level and lacks local productions are wrong because we have directors and producers. Of course we are the artists so we shouldn't just be commentators. Thank you.
شيماء Posted 2009-08-01
Salam alikum. Stop, without offense, showing us idle Egyptians. Show films of your country such as “Ouahd Deouab” or Amrdi Souara”. There are many of them. They aren't bad, they're nice.
عاشق التلفزيون الجزائري Posted 2009-08-02
My brother, I didn't like this TV. Other TV stations like Morocco, Lebanon and Tunisia show serials in the evening when people are relaxed and have finished their work. However, the Algerian TV presents at them at night. Moreover, Syrian, Egyptian and other serials last for 1 hour. As to the Algerian TV, it lasts 30 minutes a serial or less. In the serial “Imarat Haj Lahdar” there are 25 or 20 minutes. I hope you will understand and inform us as soon as possible about Ramadan serials.
imene Posted 2009-08-02
Salam alikum good people. We want some progress. Present us comic serials. Serials of eight o'clock should be good...
شادى Posted 2009-08-03
In these days, there are many countries trying to implement freedom and justice. But it is a freedom emanating from them and ending by their use. In our Arab world, we don’t know where to head to? Do we follow America or do we follow the claims of peoples? In the world, freedom is implemented without hearing any debates. But in the Arab world, every step we make is known by the whole world and we don’t know for how long this will last.
سليم العيفاوي Posted 2009-08-04
We want to watch matches of the national team. A fan of Barcelona.
عائشة Posted 2009-08-07
The Algerian TV works hard to provide everything new. But you aren't happy with it. This is your country, you are supposed to like everything it produces. I hope you will present more religious programmes so that children will become accustomed to their religion and nation.
فريال Posted 2009-08-08
The Algerian drama was totally crushed. We hope that Algeria will bring back its artists in Ramadan God willing.
rafik Posted 2009-08-08
Will "Khatam Soulaimane" be presented in Ramadan?
mohamed Posted 2009-08-09
I want to Ramadan 2009 to have "Nass Mlah City" 1, 2, 3, which is the best ever, candid video and the Djimi family.
asma Posted 2009-08-10
May God reward you with good. Why do you present new serials only in Ramadan?
سمية Posted 2009-08-12
I am Soumia from El Kal. Algerian channels need a lot of development and change to attract the Algerian and Arab audiences. Where are Algerian artists who existed before?
سعاد Posted 2009-08-13
Salam alikum. I hope you will reduce the prices of goods in Ramadan because we don't belong to the rich class. I hope you will entertain us with good and interesting programs next Ramdan. Show less commercials if you don't mind. I am keen to watch the programme of Qur'an knights. May God protect you. Thank you. Blessed Ramadan.
كريمة Posted 2009-08-14
Peace and mercy of God be upon you. I am Lina from the province of Setif. Honestly, the Algerian TV is useless. This is why it is called the orphan although I am sorry for this. However, programs are very disgusting especially the previous serial (Hearts in conflict). As we say in the dialect “ignorant and stupid”in particular the two actors Lilia and Kamal who aren't good in acting. If you substitute Lila with Bouchra the nice and Kamal with Samir Abdoune, it would have been better. I like in Ramadan “Jaami Family” and “Forsan Qur'an”. I ask you to reduce commercials because it is not very important. I hope you will reduce songs in Ramadan because it is a holy month. I hope you will remove dubbed serials because they are immoral. Thank you.
فريال Posted 2009-08-14
Salam alikum. I think that the problem is serious. There should be a radical change of some concepts. There is a deficiency in operation inside the TV institute. There is no one in his right place. Just tell me is someone like Nadia adequate for a host? The old generation, although they didn't have necessary resources, but they were on the top. May God bless the days of Lakhdar Berrich, Kamal Alouani, Zahia ben Arous, Jalal Ismail Yefsah, Khadija Ben Guenna and Messaoud Ben Rabia.
فاطمة Posted 2009-08-14
I want please the serials "Al ghaib" and "Taht Achams".
marwane177 Posted 2009-08-16
I am Marwane from the province of Tiater exactly in Souguer, I love Algerian channels and I love to watch matches of the national team.
missouna Posted 2009-08-17
They called it orphan and they weren't wrong. There is no interesting programme except the programme of Soufiane.
محمد Posted 2009-08-17
Present us "Bab Al Hara".
mimi Posted 2009-08-17
Hi guys. How are you? There are too many commercials. We are tired of 15 minutes of commercials and Turkish serials. Why don't you present new programmes?
sidali Posted 2009-08-18
Present us "Djamai" and "Haj Lakhdar".
fati45 Posted 2009-08-19
The Algerian TV has not yet entertained us with anything.
بو شوارب امين Posted 2009-08-19
God willing the first day of Ramadan will be Saturday. Thank you.
sarah Posted 2009-08-20
Hi Sarah (from Mosta)- I would just like to say something in brief on the following theme: They rerun the shows quite often and the programmes on Channel 3 are clearly a disaster - they are nonsense. We want something better. Stay strong. Thank you. -Bye
العالية Posted 2009-08-20
Please present the dubbed Korean serial "A house full of love" in Ramadan. Thank you.
ammar Posted 2009-08-21
Salam alikum. What are Algerian serials which will be presented by the Algerian TV? I hope they will present mainly Hadiths and Holy Qur'an recited by AbdelBassit. Thank you.
نينا Posted 2009-08-21
Honestly I want to know if they will present the serial “Ouahda Ou Noss”, please tell me.
nadra Posted 2009-08-21
Algerian television is a disaster, and I will be the one to say it.
sousou Posted 2009-08-22
I love comedy, the Algerian TV, Jami, Hadj Lakhdar and all Ramadan programmes.
Anonymous Posted 2009-08-23
By God Ramadan is great with Jamai family. When will it be presented?
ريم Posted 2009-08-24
Salam alikum. Blessed Ramadan. I am a university student and i am preparing a graduation paper about Algeria serials which tackled the issue of drugs. I need your help. If anyone has watched a serial and know it, please tell me how the drugs issue was tackled in it. May God reward you with good.
Anonymous Posted 2009-08-25
They call this YATIMA. Our television has not developed since Soviet times because the regime is still the same.
عماد من البرواقية Posted 2009-09-01
Honestly the Algerian TV has many shortcomings in programs. So we hope you will honour the Algerian TV like other countries. I like the serial “Hazane Lamia”.
عماد Posted 2009-09-01
Salam alikum. I am Imad from the province of El Media. Honestly, the Algerian TV is very great. Some of its good features are the serial “Al Badra”, second episode which received the admiration especially the great actor Mohamed Ajaymi, Asmaa Jermoune, Mourad Chaabane, Nidal and others as well as the serial “Jemai Family” and the nice actor “Bouchra Akbi which reminds me of “Hazane Lamia” who is dear to me whom we were expecting for a long time. We can say she is the wife of the future.
radia Posted 2009-09-05
Great programmes but some people don't have land channel Algeria. This is why we couldn't watch “Jamai family”. Ok thank you. Blessed Ramadan and happy new year.
radia Posted 2009-09-05
Hi everyone. I am Radia from Chelf. Agerian channel 3 always presents good programmes in Ramadan. But this year they've done nothing like “Souk Lakhdar”, it is very bad and bad roles. But despite this we watch this channel because it is my country. Ok Blessed Ramadan and enjoy your fast-breaking. I hope to see always my country as the best. Thank you.
amoula Posted 2009-09-08
I love other sitcoms, present them to us.
amina Posted 2009-09-25
We love Korean serials please. Programmes in Ramadan were quite good especially “Jamai family”, we praise it as well as “Forsan Qur'an”, and “Khatam Soulayman” from which we learned a lot. I would like to thank our brothers in Morocco and Algerians who work hard and Moroccan channels especially 2M.
شاناز Posted 2009-09-27
We want to watch the sketch of 'Hakim Dakar' and 'Hicham Kihal'. Present them to us. It is a great sketch especially Hicham. He was kind, so was Hakim so that he won't be jealous.
ريونة سلومة Posted 2009-09-27
Salam alikum good be people. We ask you for God's sake, we want to watch lions of TV especially Hakim Dakar and Hicham Kihal, star of the future, hahaha. You must take care of Hicham because he is good in Boudouaoui theater. Do you understand? Guys you have no taste. Have some shame. All the treasure is hidden and you show us rubbish. By God there are who deserve more. Enough, you just have to go to an ophthalmologist because you don't see well. He might be kind and prescribe you glasses. Consider what I am saying. There is a lot to be done brothers. You are nothing without the stars of the time.
ايمان Posted 2009-10-07
I want the serial "Al Ghayeb" please.
ايمان Posted 2009-10-07
In the name of God the Beneficent the Merciful. I want “Al ghayeb” serial please.
